This tour begins with about 20 km of asphalt before we reach the gravel roads. Our first break will be at a café about 90 km from Karlstad. This area was important for mining of iron ore during the 19th century and a lot of remains are still preserved. After the coffee break we'll continue our journey through the woods and head for a mansion where we will stop for lunch (not included). The last stage of the day is around 100 km, but we'll make some scenic stops on the way. This tour is around 240 km total.

This tour has some "tougher parts" but is fully rideable with larger motorcycles, provided you have some experience riding on dirt roads and in lighter terrain. The first break will be about 70 km from Karlstad and around 1-2 hours later we will have lunch ( not included). Because some tracks can be difficult (especially when it's raining), it's very important to have good tires and as little packing as possible.
Leave your saddlebags and top boxes home, after all, it's only a day tour. This trip is about 200 km.

The first 90 kms to the lunch (not included) at Big Hill Lodge are we riding on nice and easy gravelroads through both new and old mines. Some of the riding after lunch are on an old abandon railway. This tour had an enduro option before, but some of those stages needs recovery so we are only riding the offroad tour now. But we are using some of the easier stages from the enduro option instead. This tour suits you that want a little bit tougher riding on smaller gravel roads and some singel tracks. This tour is 240 km.
