The Mining expedition 1 day
The tour starts and ends in Filipstad
This is an ATV tour with a focus on nature and sights.We ride on small dirt roads , forgotten railways and snowmobile tracks.
Some of the routs contains climbing over rocks and other obstacles.
It can be some muddy sections but it's not extreme riding and it's no problem to take a passenger on the ride if you want.
We will make a few stops during the day, so please your own drinks and snacks.
The tour goes through a mining area and we will see traces of ore mining from both past and present.
We have to take a walk of about 10 minutes to get to the cave in the picture, we are not aloud to ride all the way to the entrance.
At the end of the tour we will stop and eat at Big Hill Lodge.
The tour is 75 km and also go on goes on public roads, so it's up to you as a participant to make sure that your ATV is road worthy and that you, the driver, has a valid driving license.
Max 6 ATVs/trip.
The tour is suitable for passengers.
Accommodation before/after the trip and lunch at Big Hill Lodge are not included in the price.
